I just ran a 1200 without stopping!

Now I know that most of you are skinny and in shape and I know that lots of you might actually love to run...but I have got to tell you the last time I actually ran a 1200 was......well.....never.....I cannot even remember running a 1200 my entire life! And I guess that is what you get when you are a lineman in football you run 10 yards and walk back to the huddle hundreds of times...and in track I was always a sprinter (I am taking Jr. High here, heh) so the most I would run is maybe a 400....and now it has been what 11 years since those days and needless to say the mot I did in under grad was intramural football and lifting weights...and then in Seminary I bet the most I did without stopping was probably an 800.....and today I broke a PR (personal record)! I ran a 1200 without stopping...I of course always get in my mile so after walking another lap and ran one more to get my mile in!!!! but I have got to tell the world that I feel great! I don't feel like I have lost that much weight...but running is actually kind of fun to me now...I used to dread it with all of my heart because it reminded me of the Track days in Jr. High with my teammate puking all around me, heh....but now I actually enjoy it!

I must put a ton of thanks to John my personal trainer (that is really just a friend that runs with me..but it is great to have him out there to run with...and Court is great to have out there too...And all of the other guys and gals out there from the home school co-op...but I must tell the world...that my main goal is to get a mile behind me with-out stopping, and then I will just continue that ad maybe reach 5 miles and run in a race around here some day! But until that day I can wait to just get my mile in!

So needless to say.....I also thank my God and my wife for pushing me out of bed (even tough I wish she would come with me and just walk around the track to see if it would help her hips from hurting (she had surgery as a baby and they are all kinds of messed up with arthritus)....but I had no idea that this fat hairy guy to actually run close to a mile and now that I have done three laps I know that the 4th one is not too far behind!!!

So, all you fat people out there.....read my typing! Get your butt to some semi-flat ground and put your feet in front of the other one! Find a friend and go for it! go watch the Biggest Looser for inspiration...but more importantly find a friend that will go with you and join me in the joy it is to feel good! Who knows maybe by the summer I might actually have to buy new clothes, heh.

Well, other than that I love every single one of yall and tank you for reading this blog! heh....

---------------

One other news we took my dog Halo to the Vet Hospital Sunday night and he has really really really bad Asthma. Apparently he is allergic to something around here and it is causing his breathing to go to next to nothing! We thought he was going to pass out ad die it was so bad...but now after 132.00 and 97.00.....and a 157.00 the week before bills for Vet visits we hope he will be doing better.....oh and keep us in your prayers with our finances too....we were not expecting the latest two charges and that is a lot f money when you have none, heh....

Oh and also If you have any financial problems or would just like to better manage them...then I would highly suggest you attend Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University! This program is very good, funny, and sound.....and one we can get our feet on the ground with our spending then I know that this program will help us! If you can find a church or place that is offering it I would highly suggest you go try it out! It is so worth it to us!!! and if you have no money to take the classes (it is only a few weeks long) then ask a church in the area if they have any scholarships...you might be surprised!)

OK...well I love you all again and pleas know you are all in my prayers just for reading this blog...and not too many other blogs give you that gift! So comment away and know you are being blessed and loved! KUTPs!!!!

Oh and one other thing.......... GO STEELERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The one about a new addition to my parents house, Tiffany's purse, John's face, and 2 Big Boys, and a few websites....

This is my parents new puppy dog, Teddy! He is a King Charles and dang he is cute. They got him after we left to come back home so I can't wait to see him when they come visit us in the summer! What a cutie...makes me want to vomit a little he is so cute, heh....

Here is a picture of the world of horror...the inside of Tiffany's purse....can you tell that she likes pens? wow! yeah...it is a little out of hand...but we are working on it, taking a few out at a tme, heh....Love you girl!.....

here is John's typical face on Friday mornings...when Tiffany asks a crazy question of if she mentions something really off topic, heh....he actually took this picture himself...nice self photo if you ask me...sums john up well! heh.....

And lastly, here is a Big Boy under a Big Boy! I saw this Big Boy and I just had to run under him and have Mike (one of Tiffany's youth) take my picture...you can just see me in his crotch...but I am there with a thumbs up, heh....

Got a few website for anyone to check out:

craigslist

Ever since I left Seminary I have missed the classified section of the Seminary email system....I sold and bought so any cool things on that system...and now I heard about Craigslist. Craigs List is an online Classified listing of stuff in a town near you! You just find what you are looking for and call the person! or sell something have have them call you, heh....lot s of great deals and I keep looking for a king size bed head board and foot board for Tiffany and I's bed...we have been sleeping on a donated king size bed ever since Santa Fe and we still have no head and foot board for our bed...so I am trying to suprise Tiffany some day with a nice and VERY cheap addition to out bed room, heh.... check it out you might find something local that you don't have to pay shipping on like you would through Ebay!

------------
sawstop
For those of you who are into wood working...you have got to check out this saw....it can sense if it starts to cut into flesh and it retracts the saw and never cut off anyone's finger! You have got to go to the website and DL the video of it working...Really cool!

---------
Aroma Waker Clock
For those of you who have followed me on my blog I am always looking for an alarm clock that will actually work and not put me in a bad mood for the first 5 mins after it rudely wakes me up from my sleep and here is a cool thought...it is a clock that wakes you up with a strong smell...like coffee, etc...cool Idea...but the smells better be good....if they can make those Jelly Beans taste so much like the real thing surely they can do it with smells. Oh well thought it looked neat!

--------------
N.T. (Tom) Wright stuff
OK I admit it...I am a Tom Wright Junkie...I love his writings and I think he is spot on in most or all of his cases...here is a very small collection of a few things he has done that I would share with anyone!

OK, Well, everyone have a wonderful week and I hope to be better about posting more often now that my life is a little less stressful after this week! Love you all and KUTPs!!!!

The one about my side of the family Christmas photos....

Yes, yes I know I promised pictures from my side of the family from Christmas a long time ago....so here they are.....look at all those gifts...man you really could not walk around in the middle of the living room because of all the gifts! It was a blessed time.....

Here is "my" Nanaw opening up the chicken that Tiffany and I bought her and Tiffany opened up the seam and put a recorded message box inside one of the wings and if you press it, it has a sweet message to her from me and Tiffany.....

Here is one of the best looking Grandmothers in the whole world!!!! Man I love this woman!!!! And for 94 (is that right Nanaw?) I think she is the best looking person on the planet in her age group!.....

Here is my Dad frosting a cake that he made specifically for Tiffany, because this is the exact cake that almost killed Father Tim in the Midford books (if anyone has read those...Tiffany loves them!...and the cake was really good...and they made it with Splenda so even my Dad and Grandmother could eat it!.....

Here is Sheila covered in scarves from several people and a hat too....looking surprised at the gift I assume...or she could just be faking it, heh.... either way it was wonderful having her there with us!.....

Here is Hayden and his father wearing some very stylish animal hats together! He sure was fun to have around.....and check out what Tiffany and I got him for Christmas....

Two swords, a mask, and a shield to hit his father with as many times as he desires, heh...kind of our cruel joke to his Dad (you see Kevin (his Dad) and I have a tradition to prank each other with our Christmas gifts each year...and this time I decided to make his gift a gift for Hayden...so I am sure that a few well-meaning but poorly placed hits of a sword or two will fit the gag gift quotient for the year quite well! heh heh.... Love you Kevin! heh heh......

Here is Hayden helping me hold up my sign that my parents bought me for my Home Theater! I love the sign and I need to put it up still...Right now it is just leaning up against the TV...but at least everyone can see it!..... and man look how strong Hayden is!

And lastly here is my Aunt giving me the best Christmas gift that I love sooo much...my yearly back scratch! Man, she is a master at the art of back scratch! If any wants to see if they are as good as her....I will be more than happy to let to practice or be tested on my back, heh....

Hope your Christmas went well this year as well, and never forget to KUTPs!!!

here is little Caleb eating away! He really was very god for the most part and I loved playing with him! He sure did love to eat the cake they had for the after dinner "snack" heh....

Here is Tiffany and little Caleb.....he even got my name down by the end of the time together we had..though he still did not get down the name I wanted hi to call me...he says, D.G." just fine..but he needs to work on, "Big Unc D"...ha ha......

Here is the fam! From left to right, Aunt Shirley, Aunt Dianna, Tiffany, Me, Caleb, Mommy (Toni), Noelle, and Papa Eddie (holding the purse, ha ha) OK now my on to my family in the next post.....KUTPs!!!

Happy New Year!!!.......

I have church tomorrow and so I must get some sleep...but it has been a wonderful year (some say hard...but it is not every year that you get to trust God more to bring new life in your family (no baby yet), and send your brother into the presence of Christ! Good year...shoot....great year!!!!
