Halo2 my current obsession...

If you don't know me, I am sure you will, but I go through times in my life that I just want to buy stuff. (I am sure I am not alone in this obsession, due to the rest of this materialistic world we life in.) Well, my current obsession is an Xbox game called Halo2. If you don't know this already...I (or should I say we, because I have to include Tiffany in this one) named our Dog after this game. I tell evenyone in the church that it is because when we first go our Dog we thought he would just be a little angel, but after the first 3 months we thing he ate his Halo or that his halo is being suspended above his head by the horns. ha ha. But in all honesty, our dog is named after a very violent video game for the Microsoft Xbox called Halo. While I am sure I have several parents and other church members that would be horrified that I play such a violent video game and play it with friends and youth, but in all reality This game is the greatest evangelistic tool I have ever seen! People come out of the woodwork to play this game especially when you can play one single game of capture the flag with 16 people all at the same time. This game provides more community than a lot of churches I seen, and I believe that God still uses the non-sacred to Glorify Him and if He wants to use a violent video game then so be it. He took the worst torture device in the history of the world and made it a device of our salvation, then he can use Halo.

OK off my soap box (can you ever get off a soap box on a blog? heh) Well, I thought I would let you see a really cool looking screen capture from Halo2 the next Halo game coming out Nov 9th. (this is a good thing consider it is a long while off and should keep me from desireing more stuff and I could buy now, ha ha.) If you go to here and then click on the link under the pictures then you will download a 3D capture of an ingame screen capture. It requires QuickTime, but man it is really cool, and I just thought I would share it with you. There are a bunch of videos on that same website so you can check them out if you desire.

Well, everyone have a wonderful Memorial Day tomorrow! Have a time of pray for all those who have given their life for this country, our freedom, and our lives. I think it is tradition to take that time of prayer around 3:00 pm. If you want a little history in the day you can go here.

Take care everyone and please know how much I care for you and pray for you....Even if I do not know you! Weird I know, but as a Christian I can say it with honesty, and you can know I mean it. God bless you!
"Check me out...no seriously check me out!"
