The one about our first day here in KY.....

Well, the flight was wonderful....I was playing Wipe Out Pure so the turblence actually made the game even more fun, heh....

We got into Northern KY and we left the airport to get the rental car, then we ate with Gary, his wife, Kevin, and Christine (sorry about the spelling yall).

We then got into the new Red Roof Inn here in Florence and Gary took us to the room and he also gave me my new cell phone!!!! Oh man...this phone is amazing! I really like it...and have already inputted almost all the numbers I will need here in KY, and so it will be up and ready and going even before we get here..oh did I mention that the phone was a Motorola Razor phone!!!!!! Oh man it is just cool! and I like it......did I mention that I like it, heh.....

Gary even called me on the phone last night after he left and the first thing he said was, "your playing with that phone right now aren't you?" heh heh....I have met the man only one time before yesterday...and he already knows me that good....I am excited and a little scared about this oppointment, heh heh....j/k Gary Tiffany and I are both very excited....

-----------------------

Well, toady we woke up early and ate @ Cracker Barrel (one of Tiffany's favs) and then went to Wal-mart to buy an umbrella...because they weather man said it was going to rain..and boy did it! I also forgot my deodorant and have to get some of that. heh... I think that Tiffany appreciated both items, heh....

We went to Asbury (Tiffany's future church) and Mark (The Sr. Pastor) gave us the tour of the church and then we ate lunch with the current staff, went back tot he church for Tiffany to talk to Todd (the current youth/associate Pastor) and then we all went to the Barnes n Noble @ Newport on the levee! A place that I am sure we will spend many an hour @. Tiffany talked to Todd and I met Gary (my future pastor) and we all talked even more while we had the time.... We then left Barnes and as soon as we got to the car... Tiffany remembered that she left her purse beside her seat and we all went back to the Barnes to go get it.....it was safe and sound just where she left it....but it was great...because I am normally the one running back into all places trying to find my wallet, heh heh.....oh well she has many more times to do that before she can catch up to me, heh.....

We went back to Asbury and we have a wonderful cookout with some church members and the DS even came and after a very long day ate with all of us...and boy is Mark a good cook...thanks Mark!!! The people were all just amazing and wonderful....you know I like the people when I start hugging everyone, heh.... They all loved the previous post of Tiffany and her Uterus, heh..... she got a lot of flack for that one....but it was a wonderful ice breaker and it allowed everyone to just blame me for it and helped us all get to know each other even better in he short time we had together!

Tomorrow we will be spending the whole day @ Florence 1st and we are excited about that was well!

Well, I saw the Star Wars movie tonight before we came home and wow!!!! I loved it and I can't wait to eventually see it in the DLP theater in Cinci! but the one we saw it at was not too bad and the sound was OK....and I loved it!!!! This is right up there with Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi!!!! Wonderful Wonderful Wonderful! Go see it...Tiffany did not like it...but no matter how many times I told her it was not going to have a happy ending she still wanted one...and of course was disappointed, heh.... Oh well what can you do? heh.... Well I am dead tied and need to get some rest...Love yall, please take care, and please continue to KUTPs!!!!!!!

It was great meeting you and Tiffany. I'm curious do you use yall a lot or just because you are moving to Kentucky? I was glad the rain held off while we ate. You missed a wonderful play by the homeschoolers. It was a hoot. See you soon.

Hi Cindy:

I have used yall all my life....I am born and raised in West Texas....and we use it often...so it has nothing to do with KY...just me, heh....

Yeah I hated that we missed it...but we had many more things to do the next day (early) and so we chose to attempt to stay awake instead of go to the play/musical. (We were both working on a loss of 2 hours that trip too...heh)
