I say, "Vote Blog!"
At least you know where they stand, because you always get an opinion!
I saw this sign on the side of the road...Actually on the land of the church and I decided that the church property was no place for political signs, besides I just had to show the rest of you bloggers how stinking funny this is.
Now imagine every street corner in Santa Fe covered in these signs, ha ha.
OK, all you computer nerds out there can enjoy the vote blog sign! Take care and God bless yall!

My new best friend
If you shave with a straight razor I have to suggest this awesome product. And it is a gadget too...woohoo.
Gillette Power Shave Turbo
Gillette Power Shave Turbo
Halo2 my current obsession...
If you don't know me, I am sure you will, but I go through times in my life that I just want to buy stuff. (I am sure I am not alone in this obsession, due to the rest of this materialistic world we life in.) Well, my current obsession is an Xbox game called Halo2. If you don't know this already...I (or should I say we, because I have to include Tiffany in this one) named our Dog after this game. I tell evenyone in the church that it is because when we first go our Dog we thought he would just be a little angel, but after the first 3 months we thing he ate his Halo or that his halo is being suspended above his head by the horns. ha ha. But in all honesty, our dog is named after a very violent video game for the Microsoft Xbox called Halo. While I am sure I have several parents and other church members that would be horrified that I play such a violent video game and play it with friends and youth, but in all reality This game is the greatest evangelistic tool I have ever seen! People come out of the woodwork to play this game especially when you can play one single game of capture the flag with 16 people all at the same time. This game provides more community than a lot of churches I seen, and I believe that God still uses the non-sacred to Glorify Him and if He wants to use a violent video game then so be it. He took the worst torture device in the history of the world and made it a device of our salvation, then he can use Halo.
OK off my soap box (can you ever get off a soap box on a blog? heh) Well, I thought I would let you see a really cool looking screen capture from Halo2 the next Halo game coming out Nov 9th. (this is a good thing consider it is a long while off and should keep me from desireing more stuff and I could buy now, ha ha.) If you go to here and then click on the link under the pictures then you will download a 3D capture of an ingame screen capture. It requires QuickTime, but man it is really cool, and I just thought I would share it with you. There are a bunch of videos on that same website so you can check them out if you desire.
Well, everyone have a wonderful Memorial Day tomorrow! Have a time of pray for all those who have given their life for this country, our freedom, and our lives. I think it is tradition to take that time of prayer around 3:00 pm. If you want a little history in the day you can go here.
Take care everyone and please know how much I care for you and pray for you....Even if I do not know you! Weird I know, but as a Christian I can say it with honesty, and you can know I mean it. God bless you!
"Check me out...no seriously check me out!"

Philippians blows me away!
Well, I just got through reading the ENTIRE 4 chapters of Philippians, heh. You can do the same here, but I really would encourage any and all of you to attend a staff meeting at your church some day. While it might not be a good experience you will get a new appreciation of what actually goes on inside the church and how the church is NOT perfect in any strech of the imagination, but despite it's lack of perfection, it is still a wonderful place to experience God in the joys and even in the forgiveness. This letter is an amazing reminder of why I am who I am. It is because I love god and I love the church, and I realize that every person in the world that is not a Christian could be one. To imagine that Paul is sitting in a prison writing this is awesome, and much like the Wesley Covenant Prayer He basically gives God everything including his life. At one point he even considers how great it would be to die and be with Jesus. Man, to a casual non-Christian would think he is suicidal or his conditions in prison must be horrible, but he speaks of this life as being wonderful too. Filled with Joy! Man, we Christians, but sounds crazy, and sometimes I think I am, but then I realize how wonderful this life I have in. And how wonderful it is to be a part of a Joy filled place like God's church!
Well, today we celebrate this wonderful thing called the church. We celebrate this Pentecost Sunday with great joy and amazement. I know even though I will not see flames on any heads today (as long as the acolytes keep the candles away from old ladies blue hair then I won't) I will still know the Holy Spirit is among us, living in us, and working through us, around us, and (probably most of the time) working despite us! Thank you god for such a wonderful day to celebrate your presence with us! Please transform your church to who you need us to be! Amen!

Why DG Breath
I have had several people ask me why I choose "DGbreath" as the URL (website name). Jordan even said that it sounded bad, ha ha (get it DG's Breath is Bad, Ha Ha Ha HA) Well, I was wanting to call this something like "DG's Life", or "The Life of DG", but I thought hose a little too generic so I went to Dictionary.com and once there you can click on thesaurus or just go toThesaurus.com and I typed in "life". Then I saw "breath". As soon as I saw the word breath I immediately thought about how we are the original product of God breathing life into us. I also thought about how it was God that spoke everything into existence and so Since I thought that this blog was a little bit like a new life I thought that it would be appropriate to call it DGbreath. Well there you have it, I hope that you too can find some kind of hobby that you can bring it to life is some sort of way. I think that is the reason I love to do gardening (watching something grow in life from a small seed) or wood working (seeing something come to life from a square block) or even cooking, making something wonderful out of separate things that might be bland by themselves.
Here is to making something new! (Even if it is my life every now and then..But God tends to do that one for me, heh.

Much ado about nothing...(in other words, What to do with this BLOG)
I realize that somewhere down the road that I will be posting to this BLOG only to be hearing my self speak and I will get tired of it and not make it any kind of priority in my life and this too shall pass, but right now even if this might be a fad I am going through I will have fun while it is here, and I hope you (the no named no faced ubiquitous character that is always listening and hit or miss caring) can have fun too.
I thing that I find myself almost having a attention deficit disorder when I am writing and typing, because I constantly want to have foot notes or parentheses to explain something else or give you the reader another little insight. I wonder if it is because I love DVD's and they do this all the time with giving you insights on the fly while you watch the movie? Then when I catch myself doing that I then stop after writing the "inside track" and have to pause and gather my thoughts and remember what I was writing about the first time, ha ha. Even though it is frustrating, it is still somewhat fun.
Ok back to what I will use this Blog for....
It seems at first thought I want to use this Blog to help others out. (what can you expect from a Pastor, heh) Showing them all the things I have done right and wrong in this life so far and hope that they can use my life as an example (good or bad). I almost want to treat this Blog as all the things I would want to teach my children (even though I don't have any...YET! :) ) But then I think to myself, "Hey! Isn't that for YOUR child! And for them to pass on to their children?" But, in all honesty, nothing I would tell my child is something I would want to hide from the rest of the world.
But then I look at other Blogs, and it eventually turns into all about them (which is what this Bolg has already turned into, ha ha) or just them talking about the latest news. I am sure this will get there soon, but I truly want to help people out, so I wonder if you could ask me questions via email and then I could attempt to answer them, and that would allow both you (if you is even reading this) and me grow in life by learning about all kinds of things and who knows maybe even grow closer to God.
So...I guess I will also, direct people to the Forum I created to talk about Christian issues and grow closer to God, but also provide a place to just hang out on the net and enjoy each other. Here is the website:
TheBlessing.org Forum
I will continue to push this website until "several" people actually use it, ha ha. It was dead for a while but now it is gaining a little new life.
OK, well, it is Saturday and dang it I want to loosen up a bit, so I will just maybe play a game watch a movie or keep carving on the bed posts for Tiffany.
Oh I was wanting to put up a picture just to be able to do that, so here is a picture:
Needless to say I am a wired but fun individual, and to think that this was in the Seminary Directory while I was in Seminary, and is still shown by me per directed by my wife every time we meet someone new. I hope you like it.

The first one of many!...maybe.
Well this is my first blog post, and while I have read many a blog in my time...(thanks to Thor), I will be honored to call myself a noobe, and just live with it. I thought this might be a great way to keep people aware of my life and Tiffany and my ongoing life experiences. I am what I am and I will probably say what I will probably say. These posts will have more spelling errors in then that a one fingered blind covenant Elite fighter in Halo2, but it will be fun. And if any of you have ever IMed me then you know how to cipher my crazy typing errors.
Hmmm, what can I do to make my first post memorable?....(whistle Jeopardy theme here)
Oh hey look at that, there is a spell checker button!!! Woo hoo, maybe I will not look too stupid after all, heh.
Ok, back to memorable first post..... (Chariots of Fire theme here)
How about I invite you to the greatest webtoon on the net....
Homestar Runner
and another good one, but contains cussing here....
Red Vs. Blue
Ok, now that is out of the way how about the sites I check every day....
The Digital Bits
IGN Xbox News
The new G4 Tech TV site
Ok, that should keep you busy for a while and in the mean time why not go read some of your Bible...I know I need to, but right now I think I will go to bed....so, Good night and God bless you!
May you experience love and grace flowing from the arms Jesus has wrapped around you!
Love in Christ,
DG
